ENTRY REQUIREMENTS FOR NATIONAL DIPLOMA (ND) PART-TIME PROGRAMMES.
Applicants for admission into the ND Part-Time programmes will be required to have the following qualifications:
1. A minimum of five (5) O/L Credits at SSCE, GCE, NECO, and NABTEB at not more than two sittings.
2. Credit Passes in Mathematics and English Language is compulsory for allApplicants seeking admission into any programme in the Polytechnic.
III.PRE ND SCIENCE PROGRAMME
Applicants seeking admission into the PRE ND Science programme must have a minimum of five (5) credit passes in WASC/GCE/NECO/NABTEB which must include English Language and Mathematics at not more than two sittings.

All candidates who choosed Obafemi Awolowo University as university of first choice and/or second choice and who scored 200 and above in the UTME are eligible to participate in the screening exercise. Candidates are required to upload their digital passports photographs online.
The 2013 post-utme screening exercise of the Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, will take place on Saturday July 13th, 2013 by 12 noon in various centers at Ile-Ife. All candidates are expected to be seated by 12:00 noon.
The candidate should register online on eportal.oauife.edu.ng. To register,each candidate will require a scratch card available at a sum of N2000 (Two-thousand Naira Only) though a N350 charge may also apply, making itN2350. Reports from the institution also suggest that candidates will also need to purchase result checking cards at the rate of N3,350
Screening Procedure
1 You are required to complete the Application Form online. Your Digital Passport Photograph and UTME Result slip are required to fill the Application Form.
Reports from the institution suggest that you don”t need to upload picture, your JAMB picture is already on the portal except if you had a problem with uploading picture in the Jamb registration. All your information are there including your subjects and scores. You will just supply your phone number and the Bank branch.
If you”re uploading your photo, Please note that any Digital Passport Photograph size greater than 50 KB will be rejected and the format for theDigital Passport MUST be in JPG .

This is to announce to the general public and concerned candidates that LASU 2013/2014 Post-UTME Screening Aptitude Test Registration Begins.
1. APPLICATION
Applications are invited from qualified candidates for the Lagos State University 2013/2014 Post UTME Screening Tests, for candidates seeking admission via UTME (100 level). These screening tests are mandatory requirement for entry into Lagos State University.
There shall be two rounds of Post-UTME Screening Tests.
2. ELIGIBILITY:
(i) Candidates who have chosen Lagos State University as their First or Second Choice of institution, in the April 2013 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examinations (UTME), and have scored a minimum of 180 marks are eligible to participate in the First Round of the Post- UTME Screening Tests. Priority will be given to candidates who have chosen LASU as first choice. In addition, candidates must be at least 16 years of age.
(ii) ALL Direct Entry candidates who wish to be considered for admission into Lagos State University for the 2013/2014 academic session and must have obtained Direct Entry Form from JAMB are also eligible and must apply for the screening test. However, these categories of applicants are EXEMPTED from Post-UTME Screening. Online registration is compulsory for them.
(iii) Candidates of Lagos State origin, for 100 & 200 levels will be required if admitted to prove their claims before the Independent Indigeneship Verification Committee (IIVC) set up by the Lagos State University.
(iv) Candidates should note that ONLY the accredited courses listed below are available for the 2013/2014 session. Therefore, only candidates that have chosen any of the underlisted courses as either FIRST or SECOND CHOICE should apply.

1. Prospective students will visit putme.lasu.edu.ng and select MAKE PAYMENT option in the drop down list at the top, to make the required payment of N2,000 for the 2013/2014 LASU Post UTME screening exercise.
2. The prospective student would be required to submit the following:

c) Email Address and telephone number (both must be active and personal to the applicant)
d) Click on “Proceed”
3. On the next page, a TRANSACTION ID to be used for PAYMENT would be displayed. The candidate should copy this TRANSACTION ID and proceed for PAYMENT at http://www.quickteller.com/lasu
4. On http://www.quickteller.com/lasu page,
(i) Click on PAY
(ii) Enter your email address, GSM number.
(iii) Also enter the Transaction ID copied in step 3 above
(iv) Proceed to enter details of your ATM card
(v) Click Process payment

POST UTME REGISTRATION
1. After successful payment for LASU 2013/2014 Post UTME screening exercise, return to putme.lasu.edu.ng and select CONTINUE REGISTRATION option in the drop down list at the top.
2. Prospective candidate should enter the required details (JAMB Registration number, surname and Mode of Entry – UME or DE).
3. Click on PROCEED button to load the Registration Form
Each applicant is expected to complete the registration form by providing the following information.
Candidates will be required to upload a scanned copy of their passport size photograph (File Size: Not more than 20KB; File format: JPEG [i.e.‘.jpg’]).
Application for change of passport photograph by the candidates given provisional admission shall NOT be allowed. This same passport photograph, uploaded by such candidates, will be used on their degree certificates.

Another news hitting town is about the long awaiting Pre Degree programme of the Federal University Of Technology Akure, which many a students have been waiting for the time which the forms will be available for sale to interested aspirants.
In a story published on FUTA's Facebook fanpage we gathered so many information concerning the just out Pre Degree Programme stuff.


ADMISSIONS WILL BE INTO THE FOLLOWING SCHOOLS:
i.          School of Agriculture and Agricultural Technology (SAAT)
ii.          School of Engineering and Engineering Technology (SEET)
iii.         School of Earth and Mineral Sciences (SEMS)
iv.         School of Environmental Technology (SET)
  1. School of Management Technology (SMAT)
  2. School of Sciences (SOS)

ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS: 
Candidates should possess WASC, NECO, GCE or NABTEB at not more than two sittings with a minimum of Credit passes in English Language, Mathematics, Physics and any two of the following subjects relevant to their discipline: Chemistry, Biology/Agric. Science, Economics, and Geography. Credit pass in Economics is compulsory in the School of Management Technology.

QUALIFYING TEST:
Candidates for Pre-Degree Science Programme must perform to a satisfactory level in a Computer-Based qualifying test to be conducted on Thursday, 17th and Friday 18th  October, 2013 at 8:00 am at the e-Test Centre, Federal University of Technology, Akure, Ondo State.

Candidates are expected to visit the website of the Federal University of Technology, Akure www.futa.edu.ng. for the results of the qualifying test as from Thursday 24th October, 2013.

DURATION:
The programme is full-time, and will run for one academic session of Two (2) Semesters.

REGISTRATION AND COMMENCEMENT OF LECTURES:
Screening and registration of successful candidates begin on Monday, 19th November, 2012 while lectures commence on Monday, 3rd December, 2012.

Candidates who successfully complete the programme and meet the cut-off mark for the course applied for as determined by the University Admissions Committee as well as meet the JAMB cut-off mark would be admitted into 100 level of the University undergraduate degree programme in relevant discipline in the 2013/2014 academic session.
ACCOMMODATION
Limited accommodation will be available on first come first served basis.
METHOD OF APPLICATION:

  1. Candidates are to pay application fee of fifteen thousand naira (N15,000.00) excluding bank charges on e-transact platform in any bank that is on e-transact platform.

  1. Candidates are to complete and print the PDS Application Form online after payment by logging on to the Federal University of Technology, Akure’s website www.futa.edu.ng and click on the online PDS Application Form. 

  1. Submit the Online application form and print out a copy of the examination schedule slip.

  1. The application opens on Monday, 10th June, 2013 and closes on Tuesday, 15th October, 2013.

  1. All candidates are requested to bring along the following items to the e-test venue:

i)                    Depositor’s copy of bank teller(s) indicating payment of FIFTEEN THOUSAND NAIRA (N15,000.00) Application Fee in candidate’s name.
ii)                   Completed Application Form (downloaded from the FUTA website).
iii)                 e-test scheduling slip which must contain a registration number.
iv)                 Copy of e-transact receipt obtained from the bank.
a.         The venue of e-test exercise is the Electronic Test Centre (eTC) “Obakekere Campus” Federal University of Technology, Akure.
  1. Candidates are NOT allowed to bring cell phones or electronic gadget(s) into the e-test hall.
  2. Any candidate who fails to present himself/herself for the computer based test will NOT be considered for admission.
  3. Candidates are requested in their own interest to have a feel of (practice) the computer based test by visiting http.//test.jketc.net .
